thank you, carli

for sharing an excerpt from Eat, Pray, Love in this post.

Because that is exactly how I feel every day.

I LOVED this book-- and I'm definitely going to see the movie even though I doubt it will be able to capture all of the great thoughts she had in the book.

This was such a great book. I read it a couple of years ago and often contemplate picking it up yet again which I never do with books. Elizabeth manages to nails how so many of us feel.

OMG! The hair is standing up on my arms. I just attended my family reuinion a few weeks ago and I cannot tell you how much this hits home.

There were so many questions and conversation with my sisters (both mothers) but when conversation got to me it was simply so what is new? The question was answered and no more questions asked. I felt like my presence was not really needed. My contribution to the family (or lack of) was no longer understood.
Thank you for sharing this. Looks like I need to read this book!

I read the book a few years ago, it was great! The movie was so-so. I have the book if you want to borrow it?

I'm excited to read this book over my break. It will be awesome to read something for fun instead of for school!
