Wow. Thank you all so much! I can honestly say I've never seen so many people excited about my pee on a stick. And, come to think of it, I don't think I've ever been so excited myself about peeing on a stick.
Yesterday was CD 14, which means that the egg will drop sometime between yesterday and CD 16. I'm still in shock, but relieved to know that (thanks to acu!) my body is working again. My acupuncturist will be so happy to hear this news, too. Funny, I don't even care if I don't get pregnant. I'm just thrilled to know that I ovulated, sans pills and injections. It's amazing to no longer feel broken.
And thank you all for the good thoughts and prayers for Joey. He's on several different medications and feeling a little better, which is good considering that they can't get him in for an upper GI until August 26. Do you believe that? Apparently, coughing up blood and vomiting is not considered urgent. For now, we wait it out.
I hope everyone has a great weekend! It doesn't take a genius to figure out what we'll be doing . . .

You're so inspirational!
But, booo. What an awful time for your husband to be sick! I mean, I know it's awful being sick any time, but when you're ovulating? AHHHHH
Oh. Yeah!
I get it, this is a HUGE deal. I'm so happy for you!!
A +OPK is totally worth the dancing and smiles. :) I get freakin' excited about a medicated positive...I can't even imagine a non-medicated positive. Like you said, it means your body isn't broken anymore!!

Oh YAY for a (+)OPK :) That IS exciting Katie!!!!!!!!!
I'm so worried about Joey ... I hope that he's fine. Was he sick leading up to this coughing blood spell? Like, did he have any respiratory problems or a cold that would have aggravated his esophagus? You are both in my P&PT's.
Have a wonderful weekend!
That's great about you Ov'ing on our own :) But wow, that appointment is a long ways off! Poor guy :(
That's a long wait for hubby.
Enjoy your weekend...;)
Woohoo! BD like mad, woman! Celebrate that big beautiful O!

I didn't have a chance to post the other day but Congrats on the positive OPK, that's awesome (so why are you on here blogging??) :) I can't believe he has to wait that long to be seen--crazy!
Good luck, good luck! I hope you guys catch that egg!
Have fun!
O-ing on your own is such a huge victory!!! I would be just as excited as you are. :)
Knowing that you can O without medication is awesome!
I hope that Joey is feeling better soon!
Just catching up on blog reading, so I'm a little delayed in congratulating you on your BFO! Yay! So I guess acupuncture does work for some people, and I'm glad you're one of them! :) *hugs*
Have a great weekend (and all fingers firmly crossed!)!
regarding the coughing up blood, you usually get in to see a doc sooner if you go to the ER.
1. I'm still so thrilled for you! I'm still smiling over your smiley face! I have so much hope for you!
2. I truly hope everything is OK with Joey - and that it's not serious - but that is still very scary!
Holy crap-- I NEVER got a +OPK! I'm thrilled for you. I hope you had a fantastic weekend! T&P for Joey!
