The MRI was inconclusive.
So where do we go from here?
Surgery. For a girl who has never had surgery in her entire life, I'm about to be cut open twice in one month: next week for the LAP and sometime in late March for the removal of the pesky lump in my breast that may or may not be cancer and has been sitting there now for almost two months. They can't do a needle biopsy because it's sitting too close to my chest wall. The only choice is to remove the whole thing.
I'm okay. Really, I am. I'm just chanting my motto: One step at a time.

Ugh...Inconclusive SUCKS! I am so sorry that you have to go through this on top of the lap! You are a trouper! Keep your spirits high!

Oh dear...you are already going through so much right now. I know both will go well though. Keeping you in my T&P.
Just keep swimming, just keep swimming. That's all that you can do.
Thinking about you here and sending lots of good thoughts your way.
Oh my. This is just a sucky time but you're right that one day at a time is the way to go. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and I just hope everything goes smoothly for all of it.
Oh, Katie! giant (((HUGS)))!!! I'm so sorry you have to go through any of this! If it's any consolation at all, I'm married to a radiologist, & "inconclusive" just means "we don't want to get sued if it is something". Everything crossed that the lap brings a BFP, & the lump is negative!
Erg! This sucks.
Sending positivity your way for both procedures.
I am sorry about not getting a final dx from the MRI. However, I am very positive it's just an annoying little benign thing in there. The silver lining might be that with the surgery you will be rid of the thing for good.
I will be thinking of you and wish you featherlight procedures.
Much love your ways.
Ugh, thinking of you and sending positive thoughts!
Inconclusive blows. I am so sorry. You are doing awesome...hanging in, taking it day by day...surviving. ((hugs))
Hang in there, Katie. ((hugs))
That totally sucks! I'm so sorry that you are going to have to have your first surgeries within a month of each other.
(((HUGS)))
Ugh. That sucks! Fingers crossed for you that everything goes well!
I'm sorry. Why can't this just be easy? (((HUGS)))
I like Arlyne's take on what "inconclusive" means. Just keep that in the back of your head.
well that just bites on so many levels! im so sorry to hear that they couldnt just give u nice easy, "its notinng to worry about." kinda makes u want to tell them to just do all the cutting at once so u have less to stress about i bet!
Oh man, I'm really sorry you have to have that done. That sucks! And to have 2 in one month...just focus on getting them over with and then things will get better. ((hugs))
Ugh! Two surgeries is lame...but better to have them close together than to have to wait months and months in between.
I am so sorry to hear this...I can't imagine the frustration you must feel. Hang in there - we are here to support you!
I am so sorry that the MRI was inconclusive and that you will need surgery for this too. You wil be in my thoughts! Wishing you smooth surgeries & quick recovery from both!!
im so sorry katie! Youve been through so much. :(
OMGosh, wow. This is really shaping up to be so much more difficult that it should have to be. Hopefully it all goes well, so sorry about the bum news :(
I am so sorry about this... I will be praying that you will not feel anxious about your upcoming surgeries, and that they will be healing and you will recover easily! (HUG)
Oh, Katie....I'm so sorry that you have to go through surgery for the lump. I'll be praying that it goes well and that it is NOTHING!
I'm so sorry Katie! I will keep praying that it is nothing and you recover quickly from your procedures! Hang in there!
Ugh, when it rains it frickin pours doesn't it. I'm so sorry, thinking about you and praying both surgeries go well. Day by day, you just keep hanging in there...you really are doing amazing dealing with everything!!!
Oh Katie, this is just more than any one person should have on her plate at any one given time. I can't tell you how sorry I am that you are having to deal with all of this shit!
Sending you love, love, love and more love~
I just had a lap in Oct. so if there are any questions I can help out with, let me know!
