here, there, and everywhere

I feel like I owe some people an apology. I didn't intend for my last post to come across as though I was grouping every pregnant/mommy IFer into that category. That was never what I meant to say. Please forgive me if I offended you or hurt your feelings.

This morning was my appointment with my GP about my anxiety issues. It went well. He was my doctor until I moved to Nashville and my family still goes there. I'm still amazed that he remembers me and my entire medical history! I ended up talking to him for about 45 minutes and he prescribed me Lexapro. He also recommended a counselor.

Friday morning is my MRI for the lump. That area has been very sore the past couple of days, so I'm looking forward to getting the scan done and seeing what the surgeon thinks. And speaking of surgery, AF should be showing up soon (today is CD 25) so then I'll be getting my LAP scheduled. I'm ready to get moving on this!

Finally, some pictures of the townhouse!!! I know I've been promising these for a while.

The outside. We met the neighbor on the house to the right (the one pictured) and she's so sweet!

The kitchen. We need a fridge (obviously) but the counters are Corian and the rest of the appliances are brand new. (Those are our parents and our realtor.)

The living/dining area wraps in an "L" shape around the kitchen. See artist rendering below. :) Right now the living/dining area is carpeted but we are going to rip up the carpet and put down wood laminate.

The master bath: My favorite part!

And the back yard.

I'm not going to bother posting pictures of all of the rooms because it's hard to tell what they look like without furniture in them. So once we get in and do all of the upgrades/decorating, I will post some before and after shots.

I'm so happy that your appointment went well-- keep us posted on how you feel with the Lexapro. I had to try quite a few things until I found one that was a good fit.

Thinking of you! Hugs!

I never commented on the amnesia post, but I know a girl who has the worst case of infertility amnesia EVER, and it completely breaks my heart every time I think of her. I have no idea how anyone could possibly forget the struggle with infertility, but she has done it, 100%. To the point where she is completely NOT supportive and makes all kinds of insensitive comments!! I just pray that when I get there, I will not hurt my friends who are still longing like she has hurt me...

Your townhouse looks so nice! Will be praying for good results from the MRI :)

Your new home looks beautiful! I am back on Zoloft now, and it's making a difference after a couple of weeks. I will keep you in my thoughts as your MRI approaches. Have you been poking around on the area in your breast? I had a lump that I poked and poked until it became sore and even more swollen. (While awaiting my mammo etc.) Thinking of you!

You blog is a place for you to vent. Sometimes you might say things people don't like...and that's ok. You have a lot going on right now, and we are all here for you!

LOVE the townhouse. How exciting!

When I said I was hurt it was more by the reality of infertility amnesia than by what you wrote. That's one of the things that is hard about WRITING when trying to communicate a delicate, or any, thing... there's no benefit of tone and body language, etc. But on the other hand writing can be such an outlet for expressing things one would perhaps never actually say otherwise. Pros and cons, like everything else :) Love your townhome! SO cute :)
