I don't want to go to this appointment.
The odds are in my favor that this is nothing. I'm 24. I'm healthy. I recently had a ton of blood work done and though my white blood cell count was slightly elevated, it was nothing close to what it would be if I had cancer.
But I just want this to go away. That's all.
Update: The tech did the ultrasound, then the radiologist came in. Neither he nor the tech could figure out what it was from the images, so they decided to go ahead and do the mammo. I waited so the tech could show the images to the radiologist to make sure they were clear. They weren't or there was something else he wanted to see so they had to take MORE images. And then they let me go. Obviously no one told me anything--they have to analyze the images and call my doctor. So I really don't know what to expect.

Oh, Katie...I'm so sorry that they couldn't give you any results today. I know waiting even longer to find out something will be hard to do. Just try to keep reminding yourself (like you said) that the odds ARE in your favor. Chances are great that everything will be fine!

I am very sorry about the scare. I hope the tests will give you an answer quickly and that all the results will be good! I had lumps in my bb's couple of times. They suck bc they are very scary, but as you said most of them are harmless. Will be thinking of you!
Have you gotten results yet? I hope they didn't leave you hanging over the whole weekend! I'm so sorry that I've been MIA during this whole lump finding and new RE thing!! Agh! Oh please let the lump not be bad...
On another note, I hope you really like your new RE. I think switching clinics if you're not totally happy can be a great thing! I've done it three times :) and as soon as I found one I loved, I got pregnant :) I really hope you get a good report about the lump, and that you love this new RE!
