Time to update your readers and blog lists. I am changing my blog url later today. My new Web address will be:

This is just easier for me to remember and for people to find. I chose katie0524 when I wasn't sure what I wanted to call my blog. But I wanted to make the switch.

Seriously though, who is normal? In many ways, from what you've described, you're waaay more normal than your friend. She doesn't understand what being a friend really is. She doesn't understand how lucky she is to have a selfless friend like you.
No one would blame you if you felt the need to distance yourself. If you need to, start to take small steps to protect yourself. When I finally decided it was ok to do that, it helped me a great deal.
